50 years of building Saskatoon soccer community

For the past 50 years, Huw Morris has played an incredible role in building and developing the soccer community in Saskatoon and across Saskatchewan.

After arriving in Canada from Wales in 1976, Huw quickly became involved with Saskatoon United Soccer Club as both a player and later a highly respected coach and mentor. Throughout his decades in the game, he has helped shape generations of players and coaches while promoting grassroots development, mentorship, and a lifelong love for soccer.

Known for his passion, leadership, and dedication to youth development, Huw has served as Director of Player and Coach Development at SUSC and continues to leave a lasting impact on the soccer community. His commitment to creating positive experiences for young athletes and helping players reach their potential has made him a cornerstone of soccer in Saskatchewan.

The Morris family has a deep connection to the game, including his daughter Adele Bandet, who now serves as Technical Director at SUSC.
