Frank Iula grew up in Saskatoon playing soccer as a child and has played on and off for many years. He started coaching both male and female players, when his daughter started in community for 4 years and then moved on to SUSC to coach under 12 premier girls. He spent a summer coaching both male and female players in the SUSC Academy while being mentored by Adele Bandet and David Hilliar. Frank went on to coach the Under 14 Premier girls ending the season as gold medal City Finalists. He has spent this last season coaching both female and male players in the Saskatoon United Soccer Club Under 10 Development program. Frank is looking forward to advancing his coaching skills.
I have always loved soccer but being a coach has been the most rewarding. Watching the players advance in their skills and achieve their goals, knowing at the end of the day if they have learned something about the game or if they enjoy the game more, is irreplaceable to me. I have learned and continue to learn many things from the players, coaches and parents, there's nothing like it!
