Adele was born and raised in Saskatoon; she started playing soccer at the age of 4 for Silverwood Heights Association, she moved to Hollandia Club at age 10 where she played for two years for Owen Juninville until SUSC formed an all-girls city wide team where she played under Tom Lapointe. She continued to play for SUSC from under 12 to women’s representing our Province in club nationals numerous times and women’s nationals in 2002 for coaches Tom Lapointe and Huw Morris.
Adele has coached community teams in Silverwood Heights, River Heights and SUSC from 1996 to present. In 1996 David Jankins took her as his apprentice assistant coach for the under 12 Provincial Sask team and during that time she starting running technical camps and clinics for SUSC with Yosif and she was part of the coaching staff in 2013 Canada Games as well as the 2015 Western Canada Games team. To this day she continues to coach Provincial teams and club sessions.
Adele has represented Saskatchewan as an athlete and coach and has been mentored by the best coaches to come into our Province and must pay respect and give thanks to; Huw Morris, Percy Hoff, Tom Lapoint, Yosif, David Jankins, Owen Juninville, Bob Maltman, Keith Pritchard, Mike Hudson, Terrol Russell and Jason Jones just to name a few. They have helped her grown and guide her into the person she is today. Adele would like to thank her amazing husband and three sons that allow her to follow her dreams and goals.
Adele currently mentors athletes ages four to fifteen male and female in development academies and technical sessions within SUSC and community along with other coaches. She is involved in coaching the Stage 1 and 2 Provincial Selects teams, High Performance Development Center females and the Western Canada Games Female team.
Adele is hoping to continue to push forward to attain her National B and level 4 coaching certifications in the near future and be part of the 2017 Canada Games coaching staff.
